The Office of Equity and Inclusion (EI) is located within the Mecklenburg County Manager’s Office. EI works to provide equitable access to County resources, services, and opportunities that allow for inclusion and the upward mobility of all community members. Equity and Inclusion also strives to invest in County employees through educational and training opportunities.
The Equity and Inclusion Office brings together resources through partnerships to identify and address community problems such as economic opportunity, community safety, access to health and human services, education and affordable housing.
Mecklenburg County provides equitable access to resources, services, and opportunities that allow for inclusion and the upward mobility of all community members. The County also strives to invest in its employees through diverse hiring, educational and promotional practices.
