Enterprise Project Management Office

The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) provides project management services and leadership to the entire enterprise.

EPMO is a division of the Mecklenburg County Manager’s Office. EPMO maintains a consistent and customer-centric approach to project, program, and portfolio management, while assuring alignment and governance based on the County’s strategic direction. EPMO project managers are certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) and Scrum Masters (CSM).

Project Standardization

EPMO standardization of policy and practice ensures that projects undertaken consistently serve to support the County's mission, vision, and goals as set by the executive team and the BOCC.

Oversight and Governance

EPMO communication, reporting, collaboration, use of technology, compliance and all other activities are aimed to serve the entire organization at the enterprise level.
